Enter the mysterious world of the praying mantis! Learn about this beneficial insect and help staff distribute egg casings within the park!
This new, small event introduces the community to the mysterious praying mantis. While they often appear frightening at first glance, these insects are beneficial friends that naturally control pest populations to promote healthy, ecological balances within gardens. At this event, guests will release egg casings among the many gardens at Pinelawn, each of which contains 100-200 baby mantises when they hatch!
