Our company is constantly growing! This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in Low Voltage Infrastructure installing security alarms, fire alarms, access systems and data comm. We are looking to hire several entry level laborers to join our team with the following attributes: • Able to listen and take direction. • Diligent time management and attention to detail • Excellent customer service skills You will have the opportunity to learn: • Receive on-the-job skills and hands-on equipment training in telecom installation • Safety practices, tools & equipment specifics commonly used on jobsites • Closet buildout techniques with hands-on training & demonstration • Cable pulling, placement, pathways, navigation, stringing, separating & best practices • Termination “how-tos” including Cat5 and Cat6 cable, coaxial cable, modular vs. non-modular patch panels, & faceplate installation • General testing techniques, tips for identifying pass/fail readings plus proven ways for handling a tester • Job Etiquette, tool identification, cabling-related terms & on-site documentation Starting wage $13.00 - $17.00 an hour
