I can speak for only one industry trade organization, but we will never plan a convention or local event again in the City of Minneapolis. It is a city of lawless thugs prowling the streets, day and more at night, under the cover of darkness. We see a city council paying civil lawsuit extortion treasures to mobs and rioters and those encouraging resistance and disobedience to law enforcement officers. Our trade show attendees are fearful of being attacked on the streets when enjoying dinner and night-life, pointing at a city/state government that promote racial hatred and encourage violence and public/private property destruction under a pretext of protest. Our industry does not in any support violence and arson and public mayhem. Hence, we are done with you, Minneapolis. We'll look to spend our travel, entertainment and hospitality dollars in a safer, more law-abiding, and responsible U.S. city. Enjoy your summer!
