The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience. This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and provides information on the law-abiding individual's right to self-defense. A required course for those who wish to become and NRA instructor. Each student will receive a 271 page color illustrated textbook, a take home DVD and a tuition free 4 day defensive handgun class at Front Sight Training Institute near Las Vegas Nevada for simply attending the class. This class is a traditional, instructor-led course where you will receive direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end. Student registration starts a half hour prior to class. Illinois Concealed Carry Training provides concealed carry classes in Midlothian, Illinois, and the surrounding Chicagoland area. Through firearms training and safety instruction, we will equip you to properly and confidently handle a firearm. We will also teach you how to remain physically, morally, and financially safe in the event you ever have to use your firearm in self-defense or in the defense of another. Our founder is a retired Sergeant from a Chicago area suburb with over 40 years as a Public Safety Professional. He became a certified NRA & USCCA firearms instructor because he wants all of those who carry a concealed firearm to be responsible, properly trained and have the correct information to stay physically, morally, and financially safe in the event you have to use your firearm in self-defense or the defense of another. Our Instructors will bring their expertise and experience into the classroom to teach others how to use guns safely and ethically.
