SHORT VERSION: We are a progressive rock band with members already from both the Akron and Cleveland areas. We write originals and plan on playing a minimal amount of covers for our live shows. Looking for a very solid rhythm guitarist, a very skilled bassist who can solo like a shark, and a keyboardist with a good ivory touch who has their own equipment. Because of the nature of our music (utilizing odd time signatures and different modes), everyone is expected to have an understanding of music theory. Link to music at the bottom. DETAILED VERSION: We are looking for a (rhythm) guitarist, bassist, and keyboardist to join our band, making a 6-piece arrangement. Our style tends to be very progressive while still being melodically and harmonically forward. Each song is pretty different in style without losing our band sound. To hear the songs and their variety, visit the link at the bottom of this post. You can expect to work with odd time signatures and music that is more adventurously arranged. Backup vocals are not a required skill, but they are a huge bonus. Our musical inspirations vary between Dream Theater, Toto, Queen, Tower or Power, The Alan Parson Project, Tears for Fears, Mr. Big, and the general forces of classic rock. What our music actually sounds like... That's still up for interpretation by our fans and so far they enjoy our "familiar uniqueness." We are dedicated to our craft and looking for skilled musicians with potentially the same level of dedication. This means dedicating TIME, both for practice sessions and for learning the songs and parts prior to practice sessions. 7 of our 10-12 song album have already been written. 6 of those songs have already been released to streaming and music purchasing platforms.
