To conclude National Farmworker Awareness Week, TVCC-CAMP is hosting Cecilia Violetta López as our keynote speaker. At the age of 10, Cecilia Violetta López began to work in the fields in Rupert, Idaho, alongside her mother and brother. Later in her life, Cecilia studied music education, and she went on to pursue a career in opera. Cecilia has been named one of opera's "25 Rising Stars" by Opera News, and she was named Opera Idaho's 2019-2020 Artist of the Year. Join TVCC-CAMP in listening to Cecilia's story. Accompanied by pianist Nathan Salazar, she will also perform a few songs.
