Description

We have a pure bread German shepherd dog. He is aggressive towards everyone in the household including my kids. I’m not sure what’s wrong with him or why he is acting this way. The vet suggested we have him put down based on his actions. He bully’s everyone in the house bc we do not what he’s capable of. He gets close to you and starts growling and gets very stiff and hair standing up on his back out of no where. No amount of training or rehabilitation will ever make me trust him in our home. I don’t want to have him put down but I’m at a loss as to what to do. I can’t find anywhere that will take him. I’m worried to give him to the wrong person and I fear someone getting hurt or worse. I would never be able to live with that. I’m here in hopes to find any advise that will help our situation. Maybe someone out there has the willingness and ability to give him a better life. One that doesn’t involve euthanasia. When he’s not bullying the household he’s a good dog. He loves playing catch and fetch. He listens to basic commands very well if he isn’t in his mood. If anyone can help please contact me. I do not need your negative comments.I do not need ppl to tell me I’m a bad person or wrong for making this post. I do not desire Professional training recommendations. We’ve already been down that road and spent lots of money doing it. At this point I just want me and my family to be safe in our own home.
