My friend and I are looking for an older guitar player 50’s-60’s that’s interested in writing original music. I sing and write. My friend plays harmonica. We’re both in our early 60’s. Right now we work with backing tracks. I play guitar but not so good. We’re looking for someone that is decent and creative on guitar. If you’re too good you’ll most likely not be interested. We like blues, 60’s 70’s rock, the stuff we grew up listening to. Ideally we are looking for a guy that has played guitar for years but never been in a band. Someone that has a bunch of original material in the works but may need help with lyrics or melody, etc. Someone that wants to write some good songs that move people. We have a place to jam.
Looking to get together 3-4 times per month. Later we want to add bass and drums, etc.
If you have to get wasted to play it won’t work out. If you’re afraid of the covid BS it won’t work out. If you have strong politics it won’t work out. We are easy going and want to have fun.
