BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington's positive coronavirus test rate dropped below to just above 2 percent over the last two weeks according to the latest town-by-town report released Thursday.
The town's two-week positive test rate was 2.2 percent, keeping it firmly in the moderate-risk, or yellow, category. It was 2.6 percent in last week's report.
There were 55 cases in the last two weeks, versus 68 in last week's report. The town has had 1,675 cases.

Massachusetts labeled just 14 communities as high risk for the coronavirus Thursday in the latest town-by-town report from the Department of Public Health.
The seven-day average positive test rate for the state fell slightly to 1.72 percent, the lowest level since October. Statewide case counts, hospitalizations and deaths also all fell.
Statewide, a total of 1,589 new cases and 42 deaths were reported Thursday.
