ANDOVER, MA — Andover's positive coronavirus test rate dropped below 2 percent for the first time in months, according to the latest town-by-town report released Thursday. The town's positive test rate over the last two weeks was 1.7 percent, keeping it firmly in the moderate-risk, or yellow, category. There were 74 cases in the last two weeks, with the town reporting 53 active cases Thursday. Of 2,313 cumulative cases, 117 residents have died. >>MA Town-By-Town Coronavirus Stats: 14 High-Risk Communities Massachusetts labeled just 14 communities as high risk for the coronavirus Thursday in the latest town-by-town report from the Department of Public Health. The seven-day average positive test rate for the state fell slightly to 1.72 percent, the lowest level since October. Statewide case counts, hospitalizations and deaths also all fell.
