Maintenance Technician - Full Time Hours, M-F Founded in 1909, Hyde Park Golf & Country Club has evolved into one of the premier country clubs in Cincinnati. We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a full-time position, working 40 hours, typically Monday – Friday, starting at 7am, with the occasional weekend as needed. Competitive hourly wages based upon previous experience, with the opportunity for increased wages based upon performance and attendance. Qualifications: • Attendance and timeliness are a requirement – must be able to work scheduled hours. • Capable of performing sustained manual labor. Daily physical exertion includes: (but not limited to) bending, climbing, lifting, standing for long periods of time, and moving up to 50 lbs. • Applicant must have recent experience and training in general maintenance work including, painting, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. • Ability to work in a team to address work projects and follow instructions from maintenance manager and general manager. • Experience with HVAC systems and a current EPA certification is a plus. • Pride, excellence, and integrity in the work that you complete. • Knowledge of hand tools used in maintenance. • Friendly and supportive attitude towards all club members and coworkers. • Must possess general building maintenance skills with recent experience. The Maintenance Technician will assist with our mission by: • Maintaining and making general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, elevators, ventilation systems and building structures of the club. • Conducting repairs to plumbing, such as leaking pipes and faucets and clogged drains. • Performing various duties involving painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical work. • Maintaining the air conditioning, refrigerators, ice makers and pool pumps. • Performing routine preventive maintenance. • Installing tile, drywall; makes grouting repairs, patches walls and more. • Uphold our high safety and sanitation standards. • Attending departmental staff meetings and employee trainings as assigned to you. • Completing all additional assignments as directed by the maintenance manager and/or general manager.
