Hello! My mother recently lost her 17 year old pampered chihuahua/pom mix, Gidget. She is ready to find a new companion to spoil and love. She is seeking a small breed puppy or young dog (under 3), preferably female but open to male. My mother is 70, but still active and loves to putter around her yard doing yardwork, going for walks, running short errands. The puppy would go with her everywhere. Lovely home, big beautiful secure yard for puppy to explore safely, but he/she would mostly be an indoor pampered companion. My mother lives alone and is a small person, so no heavy breeds as she would like to carry her baby around and be able to bathe it easily on her own.
