Artist Space Available! FM Oakland (www.FMoakland.com), our studio and gallery space in downtown Oakland, has a studio available April 1st to rent in our shared warehouse of ten spaces. We are looking for serious artists who are devoted to their craft. If that's you, here is your chance to utilize a space which guarantees an audience every month (once Art Murmur reopens). Our studio is located in the heart of First Fridays/Art Murmur, which provides a great chance to make art, sales, connections, and gain exposure. Space intended for studio is limited to art that doesn't require heavy ventilation (spray paint, glass blowers, heavy metal, fiberglass, etc). Space intended mainly for display is open to any kind of medium. individual artist studio/display spaces feature: - $411 a month for 15ft x 9ft x 10ft tall space - access to communal woodworking area, a spray booth, and six electric kilns of various sizes - potential use of front display window and gallery wall - skylights, bathroom, and 24hr access - guaranteed audience during monthly open studios EVERY first Friday 6-10pm (hours may vary) - located in the heart of Oakland Art Murmur, just nine blocks from 19th St. BART what's needed to move in? - $822 to move in which includes first month rent and security deposit. - signed contract agreement stating terms and conditions for studio usage.
