Shifts: 1st shift (Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) 2nd shift - (Monday – Friday 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.) Compensation $13.80 - $14.25 hourly (depending on shift and position availability) Position: In this position, you will be responsible for general duties involving: Grading, checking for bones, checking for misshapes, etc. Packing products into boxes or bags. Stacking packaged boxes Requirements: No experience necessary Must be able to stand for 8-hour shift Must be able to work 6 days a week Must be able to work in hot/cold environments Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Shift: night shift - (Monday – Friday 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.) Compensation: $17 hourly This position must hang live birds by both legs onto the overhead shackle line using both hands. The position is responsible for hanging 35 birds per minute. Birds weigh an average of 6 pounds but can range from 5.5 to 9 pounds. Positions require the ability to push/pull/carry/lift 50+ pounds periodically to transport to and dump DOA birds on the take-away conveyor. Must be willing to work in hot/dark/dusty environments, use hands and arms above shoulder level, and be able to stand 8-10 hours a day.
