It amazes me that there are people on earth who are till as selfish and thoughtless as this poster. These people at the border are human beings. Not only are they human beings, they are children. Every person on earth deserves the right to thrive. If that means we need to welcome them into out nation, so be it.
“Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses hearing to breathe free...”. This is actually written on our status of liberty. One of our biggest most iconic symbols of America welcomes all people to live free just as our forefathers did.
If you fear immigrants coming to America, there is. Hole in your heart. If you fear immigrants coming to the U.S. your are selfish, elitist and probably racist as well.
My grandparents arrived on thee shores and I reap the benefits of that. Your nice story landed on these shores as well and you ol reap the benefits of that. What gives you or I the right to refuse this opportunity to others? This is a moral decision.
