Job Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for a preventative maintenance schedule, project work orders, and production schedule. You will be required to complete all daily, weekly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks within a scheduled timeframe while maintaining and recording all required log sheets and history records.
Key Responsibilities of the Repair Technician role include:
Performing daily equipment inspections and necessary repairs
Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders
Performing required repairs and service
Maintaining organization and inventory of Repair Shop
Performing building repairs with routine inspections of lighting, filters, vents, etc.
Maintaining outside grounds
Preparing building for season changes
Maintaining proper appearance of building by cleaning, painting, and repairing.
Job Requirements
In the Maintenance Technician role, you must be self-motivated and able to work well both independently and in a
team-oriented setting. You must be able to handle a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment. This position
requires the use of judgment in the most efficient manner to complete the assigned projects and repairs.
Other requirements of the Maintenance Technician role include:
High school degree or equivalent certification
Previous warehouse maintenance, preferred
Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, and mechanics
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of hydraulics and plumbing
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints, preferred
Capable of operating forklifts and their attachments
Good arithmetic and reading skills
Availability to work a variety of shifts
Must pass written and driving forklift exam
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
