Description

KIND stands for Kids Interested in Novels of Diversity! While kids may be busy reading regular novels for school, we hope they can kick back with these fun and world-expanding graphic novels! They will receive an introductory video to the monthly book pick, plus discussion questions and a relevant activity to complete with family or friends. There will not be a live Zoom event for this program. Recommended for ages 8-12 (younger or older allowed with parental discretion). Registration is required and begins on March 15th. The April book pick is When Stars Are Scattered by Victoria Jamieson. If you register for this program, you will receive a copy of the book in your grab-and-go bag which must be returned to the library once you are finished. If you wish to buy your own copy or learn more about this title, you may do so here: https://www.amazon.com/When-Stars-Scattered-Victoria-Jamieson/dp/0525553908
