About the Class: With the entertainment industry exploding in Atlanta, now is a great time to learn to act! This class will focus on the beginnings and basics of developing your acting craft and building a process. Students will put up scenes weekly from famous plays and we will focus on: 1) How to read and dissect a script, 2) how to access your full spectrum of emotions, 3) how to physically and vocally embody a new character, and 4) how to diagnose what’s wrong with a scene and fix it. Students must be 18 or older. An interview with the instructor, Alex Witherow, is required before joining the class to learn what you hope to accomplish. Class will be ongoing every Monday night.
