Press release from the City of Mendota Heights: March 11, 2021 Order online beginning 8 a.m. Friday, March 12 Mendota Heights is again offering its annual Spring Tree Sale. Residents can purchase shade trees at a discounted cost to plant on their property. Limit two trees per address available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is a limited amount of tree species and inventory available while supplies last. Choices for this year include: Blue Beech (Carpinus caroliniana) Dakota Pinnacle Birch (Betula platyphylla 'Fargo') Kentucky Coffee Tree (Gymnocladu dioicus) Prairie Fire Crabapple (Malus 'Prairie Fire') Hackberry (Celtis occidentalis) Bur Oak (Quercus macrocarpa) Trees need to be picked up Saturday, May 8, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Mendota Heights Public Works Facility, 2431 Lexington Avenue South.
