Description
Unique photography with extreme lighting. Creating images with light or light painting is a unique and popular form of photography. It's moving a light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or space. All you need is an interchangeable lens camera (ILC), a tripod, and a remote switch. The workshop will get you out of the "auto" zone of your camera. Photographer David Frayer will guide you through your camera settings and allow you to create memorable images with our lighting model, Kat Fodor. The workshop is for all levels of photographers. What will be covered • Exposure • Composition • Use of Lenses • Subject Development • Creative Thinking • Lighting Fee - $85 - There are no refunds. Models are tipped for their services and would be appreciated. Tipping is a personal choice and at your discretion. Reminder - Eventbrite's fee is nonrefundable. The event is limited to 7 participants. Where & When - 8:00 PM - April 8th. We will meet at City Island. If the weather changes, we will meet at JPI. Equipment: Cameras - An ILC system - either a D-SLR camera or Mirrorless System and a remote switch. Tripod - Something very sturdy. No monopods. Lenses - You can bring any lens you wish to use for the workshop. However, lenses that include a sufficient focal length from 24-70mm would be ideal. Optional: Bring a chair - There are no chairs nearby, so you be will be standing for the entire time. Other Considerations: You will need a flashlight and sensible shoes on the beach.
