We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals for the 6am to 1pm or 1pm to 8pm shift at Camp Bow Wow in Aurora!! We are looking for hard working, long term employees with a passion and love of all things dog related. Camp Bow Wow is the Premier Doggy Day Camp, Overnight Camp and Pet Sitting Company. We want to be the leading doggy day care in Aurora and we need people focused on providing the best customer service to our four legged and two legged friends. While you have to love dogs to work with us, you also need to be able to handle the physical aspects of the job. This includes but is not limited to cleaning, bending, standing for long periods, stooping, lifting up to 40 lbs, and working weekends and holidays. We are open 365 days a year to take care of our fur-iends... Camp Counselor duties include but are not limited to: - Insure the utmost safety and cleanliness for campers and counselors - Engage in healthy play with dogs in play yards - Responsible for cleaning up dog waste in play yards and cabins - Manage dogs in your care to proactively avoid any poor behavior or aggression - Ensure familiarity with all dogs names and personalities - Monitor all day campers and night campers and insure a clean and safe environment - Complete Pet First Aid and Doggy CPR certification within 60 days of hire - Be in view of cameras engaging in healthy play with dogs from 5lbs to 150lbs - Monitor and give medications when necessary If you are interested in joining our company, please send a resume and short paragraph on why you think this job would be good for you.
