Daylight Saving Time begins March 14, 2021. Remember to check your smoke alarms and change replaceable batteries, if needed.
Smoke alarms with non-replaceable 10-year batteries should work for up to 10 years. Test monthly. If the alarm chirps, warning that the battery is low, replace the entire smoke alarm right away. Smoke alarms with any other type of battery need a new battery at least once a year. When these alarms chirp, replace the battery right away. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.
