Portuguese Dinner A Lisbon Sundeck Dinner It is almost Spring but I have the desire to be somewhere nice and warm and sunny, so let’s go to Southern Portugal for this lusty dinner! 1 A Platter of Petiscos The portugueses love Petiscos, their version of Tapas, especially in the south. This plate of nibbles will get your palate ready for sure! Cenouras Algarvia - Vinegar marinated carrots Pasta de Azeitonas Pretas Black olive paté toasts Peixinhos da horta, little green fish of the garden (fried string beans) --- 2 Bacalau - The magic salt cod of Portugal Bolinos de Bacalhau Salted cod and potato croquettes Served with, yes, Maionese de Leite “Milk Mayonaisse” --- 3 Sausages, Sausages, Sausges Chourico y Morcella Amazing Portuguese Sausages and butterbeans 4 “Frango” The Famous “Frango”- Portuguese Piri Piri Chicken Marinated and grilled...it is the best!, with smoky potato wedges and Piri Piri Sauce, this is serious eating! ---- Dessert DOCE Morgado de Figo - Fig and Chocolate Torte, buttermilk sauce Tickets are $60 per person, $20 now and $40 night of dinner.
