Women of Light is a non-profit organization dedicated to INSPIRE, CONNECT, & SERVE! SHINE BRIGHT… a gathering to reignite!Do you ever feel like you're being called to do more… to live bigger, and to dig deeper. Yet in many ways you feel like you’re not quite reaching the potential you feel inside. Do you ever feel stuck? Or uncertain about the direction you should take? Do you sometimes feel like you’re a pinball simply being bounced through life? Do you find yourself wanting to experience just a little "more"? You need to know that you are not alone! You have the right to dream big… to want a little more out of life … to get “unstuck”... and to find deeper joy, clarity, and purpose! And you have what it takes to make that happen! But sometimes life is hard and overwhelming… and sometimes we find ourselves not quite living the lives we expected. Sometimes we need a reminder of what sparked us in the first place, and sometimes we need a little help seeing the things that might be holding us back! Don't worry... we have JUST WHAT YOU NEED! KEYNOTE SPEAKERCharity Lighten has a passion for life, wellness, business, God and people...mostly the last two :) She identifies with the daily struggles and the myriad of ways that darkness can find its way into the cracks. As a mother of 4, entreprenuer, author, widow and recent newlywed she is well-acquainted with the ups and downs of life. Charity has experienced self-doubt, body shame, “mom-guilt”, lack of direction, discouragement, adversity, and just about every element that can dim your light. She will share tools that will help you breakthrough your inner limits, specific techniques to help you find clarity, and daily questions that can strengthen your purpose and deepen your joy! Here’s what you can expect: FOOD - what’s a gathering without good food right?!! You will enjoy a catered brunch, dessert, and of course fresh sourdough bread (who knew the pandemic would bring a a such a surge of sourdough!)FUN - it’s been quite the year! We know you probably could use a morning to recharge (or an entire week)... but we also know your time is valuable so we promise to make it worth it. We want you to have fun… but… (come a little close, because I need to whisper this...it’s going to be a little work too)... there are so many gems inside of you… so much light eager to get out… that we are going to do little work together to help you SHINE!FRIENDS - whether you are an extrovert looking to recharge, or an introvert stepping out of her comfort zone… whether you have more friends than you can keep up with, or are looking to make some new connections…. Absolutely nothing (unless you are coming with a friend… she might need a ride :) We will provide everything you need to make sure this is an experience that you won’t forget! Leave the stresses, the children, and the to-do lists at home… this event is FOR YOU! I would like to come, but I’m nervous about coming alone? Oh how we have all felt that before! Don’t worry, there will be MANY women coming on their own (and probably looking for a little connection). Also, our Women of Light committee will make sure you don’t FEEL alone for one minute while you are with us! What should I wear? Whatever makes you comfortable! Whether you were having brunch in the park, a fancy hotel, or in the comfort of your own home… wear what will make you SHINE! When should I register? Right now! Don't wait! You friend, mom, sister, can all sign up too! But don't wait for them if you feel like this is for YOU (cuz we think it is too)! I have food allergies, and I’m nervous about the menu. We will follow state mandated regulations at the time of the event. Please plan on wearing a mask when you are not dining. Sanitation stations will also be available.
