Annual gathering of Women in Educational Leadership to celebrate, inspire, & learn. Luncheon 11 am - 2 pm & limited am wksp. 8 -10 am. The Women in Educational Leadership Luncheon has been an annual tradition in DuPage County for over 25 years where we gather to celebrate, inspire, network, support, and educate women in education leadership for one day each year. This year’s luncheon is on April 22 at 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Maggiano’s Oak Brook.We are proud to announce our keynote speaker for this year's event is Jane Kise, who will speak about her book Step In, Step Up. Amazon notes her book: "'Step In, Step Up' is a must-read book for all women in education, at every level. It will help women reframe how they see themselves as leaders and break through the barriers, both internal and external, to amplifying their impact as educators." We encourage you to purchase that book and start a book study in the weeks leading up to the luncheon with the women in your professional learning network. The luncheon alone costs $55.00. We have a special opportunity for 40 women to attend a special morning session from 8 am to 10 am with Jane in a more intimate setting doing workshop activities around her book.
