As time goes on, more and more about Slavery in America becomes available. Did you know that there were Blacks who owned black slaves. Did you know that women owned black slaves. I never heard of this, not thinking there were any Blacks who were "slave" states, or that women would have such power to own slaves at all... Even some Native tribes it seems owned black slaves at one time. And lets not forget that every Confederate state, was controlled by the democratic party and they were all "Slave" states. Back then the democratic party was the party for "states rights"! just a thought
