Introduction to Basic Survival, what you need to know! Half day course (4.5 hours) covers the basics of survival, it is designed to make you aware of your situation and assist you with CRITICAL thinking and provide you with the KNOWLEDGE needed to survive during a stressful situation. This course will challenge your core basics in the following categories: • Psychology of Survival • Basic First Aid / Water • Compass and Navigation • Shelter, Knots and Fire Starting • Communication / Signal What to Bring: Closed toed shoes (hiking boots or tennis shoes) Long pants/Long Sleeves Hat/sun screen/bug repellant Warm layers Rain gear (Poncho or light rain jacket) Large full water bottle Lunch or Snacks Small folding camp stool (recommended)
