Resident Night Manager Couple needed at Gloria Dei Plaza in Newtown, Bucks County. Gloria Dei Plaza is an affordable senior apartment community for Residents who live independently (or bring in their own services) and are 62 + or can benefit from a Wheel-Chair Accessible apartment. In exchange for sharing a rent-free one-bedroom apartment with utilities included plus $400 monthly stipend the Night Manager Couple will be on duty every other week when the Office is closed.  The Couple will alternate weeks and holidays with our other Night Manager Couple.  Duties will include: Providing coverage when the Office is closed (nights, weekends and holidays.) The On-Duty Couple must be on property whenever Office is closed. Checking the building periodically to make sure all doors, etc. are secure and minor emergency building maintenance. Responding to resident emergency alarms and/or telephone calls. You will not be expected to provide medical care but will call for any services needed and/or contact the families of residents.  We do not expect anyone to stay awake all night. When the alarm sounds, you respond. When the phone rings, you answer it. Working with the public and in a service position is not for everyone.
