JOB TITLE: Pool & Spa Attendant COMPANY INTRODUCTION: The Lookout at Lake Chelan (www.chelanlookout.com) is a lakeside village located on the sun-drenched north shore just one mile from downtown. Our unique community features a 70-slip marina, sandy beach cove, pool, hot tub, pickleball & bocce ball courts, trails, parks, and playgrounds. JOB SUMMARY: The Lookout is currently seeking a trustworthy and reliable Pool and Spa Service Technician to service and maintain our swimming pools and privately owned spas. As a Pool Technician, your duties will include testing the pH, adding chlorine, acid, and other chemicals to correct the pH as well as repairing light fittings, leaks, cracks, and faulty equipment. To ensure success as a Pool Service Technician, you should have excellent knowledge of swimming pool equipment and maintenance, be able to work with hazardous chemicals, and interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner. RESPOSABILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • Maintaining equipment and chemical stock levels. • Testing swimming pool and spas water pH, and chlorine levels. • Adding acid, chlorine, and other chemicals to correct levels. • Cleaning swimming pool using authorized equipment. • Replacing globes in underwater light fittings. • Fixing cracks or leaks in the swimming pool structure. • Fitting and repairing pipes and plumbing for spas and pools. • Servicing and fixing faulty pool cleaning equipment. • Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management. QUALIFICATIONS: • Deep knowledge of pool equipment, swimming pool cleaning materials, occupational hazards • Thorough knowledge of pool maintenance, swimming pool methods, safety precautions • High school diploma. • Ability to lift heavy equipment. • Professional appearance. • Must be able to work outdoors, exposed to potential temperature extremes of heat and/or cold. • Basic Computer skills, understanding of technology including use of mobile apps. REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager WORK SCHEDULE: Seasonal position (April – October) Variable mornings and afternoon, Weekends and holidays required. 40 hours per week COMPENSATION: $16.00 per hour Apply Here:
