ONLINE APPLICATIONS ONLY APPLY AT: WWW.FOURQUEENS.COM Soft Count Supervisor Division/Department: 49120 Reports to: Controller SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining and managing the Soft Count functions at both Four Queens and Binions. Duties including sorting, counting and recording the contents of kiosks, table game drop boxes and bill validator drop boxes according to set procedures established by Nevada Gaming Control Board along with Internal processes/procedures. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Prepares schedules and staffing guides for Soft Count personnel. Assists in maintaining payroll costs as budgeted. 2. Ensures that all applicable Nevada Gaming Control Board regulations are followed. 3. Oversees the accurate documentation of employee work history (attendance, discipline, vacations, leaves of absences, performance reviews). 4. Oversees the proper accounting of the contents of all kiosks, table game drop boxes and bill validator drop boxes. 5. Addresses all employee concerns. 6. Other duties as assigned. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1. None listed. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have legible handwriting. 2. Work includes weekends and early mornings. Must be able to work independently, without constant supervision. 3. Must have strong communication skills with the ability to train, motivate and coach in a team environment. 4. Must be able to maneuver in and around all count rooms. Must be able to push and pull carts up to 75 pounds and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. 5. Must be 21 years of age and be able to obtain all local, state and federal regulatory permits as required by position. Must work calmly under stress when the volume of business increases. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bend and stoop. Must be able to tolerate areas containing high noise levels and secondary smoke.
