We're looking for an entry-level weatherization installer to work on energy efficiency improvements for our members as recommended from our residential energy audit reports. Responsibilities: • Work with the Co-op's weatherization crew chief in attics and basements. • Weather stripping, air sealing, blow-in insulation, caulking, foam board. • General construction and remodeling work. • Meet the Co-op's weatherization quality standards. • Attend training workshops and classes. Qualifications and Experience: • Construction experience helpful. • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in confined spaces. • Weatherization or insulation experience helpful. This is a full-time position with full benefits. Starting hourly wage depends on experience. In business since 2001, the Energy Co-op delivers heating oil, kerosene and wood pellets to 2,500 members and customers, primarily in northwestern Vermont. We also maintain, replace and repair a wide range of home heating equipment - including heat pumps - and conduct energy audits.
