Creative Landscaping is a Design/Build Landscape Co. Installing commercial and residential landscapes of all sizes in northern Vermont. We pride ourselves in installing top quality naturalistic functional and sustainable landscapes. Working on our crew will strengthen your masonary and landscape skills, plant knowledge and understanding of landscape installation. We are looking for seasonal landscape crew. This is a full-time position from April through December 1. Ideally, qualified applicants have a minimum of 1 yr. experience in the following tasks with a similar landscape operation: Shrub, perennial and tree plantings. General landscape maintenance work: edging beds, seasonal clean-ups, tree removals, mulching and pruning. Experience laying bluestone, pavers and building walls a plus. Attention to detail a must. Team players with a good work ethic. Enjoy working outdoors. Duties may also include equipment operation and truck driving (CDL not required but would help). Equipment and Truck maintenance schedules kept up. Crew leader and crew applicants must have a pleasant and teachable attitude. Be willing to work hard in all types of weather, and be in reasonable physical shape. Able to lift 50 lbs. Veterans, Ag students, those interested in growing and working outdoors encouraged to apply. We are also looking to fill a part time position at our Retail Nursery in Jericho. Applicants should have a basic knowledge of perennials, shrubs and trees. Clean, courteous, self motivated with good communication skills. A passion for plants and love of outdoors is essential. Physically fit. Duties include: Assisting customers with selecting the best plants fir their site regarding soils, light exposure and aesthetics. Operating our point of sale system. Care of plants and plant displays through watering, fertilizing, weeding, checking for insect pests, potting, and more. Hours are 9-5 weekdays, some weekend days are required.
