Join the Public Relations Council of Greater Atlantic City this month (via ZOOM or in-person) as Brian K. Jackson, CEO of the Atlantic City campus of Stockton University, updates us on its expansion plans and Elizabeth Terenik, senior project manager, AC Devco, outlines her company’s role. Brian will discuss the success of Stockton’s Atlantic City campus and its plans for growth. Brian will outline the 400-bed dormitory expansion which will complement the existing campus and serve as an additional anchor in the Chelsea neighborhood. At a cost of $69.3 million, construction on the expansion is scheduled to begin by the end of May. The building will be located across from O’Donnell Park. AC Devco: Elizabeth will focus on the Chelsea Neighborhood Plan which is designed to strengthen community, increase economic opportunities and provide better housing. AC Devco spearheaded the first phase of Stockton’s AC campus and a new headquarters tower for South Jersey Gas. About Our Speakers: Brian serves as Chief Operating Officer for Stockton University Atlantic City. Previously, he served as Chief of Staff to the President and Assistant Secretary to the Stockton Board of Trustees. His former experience includes Manager of Administrative Planning, Budgeting and Research and adjunct instructor at Atlantic Cape Community College. Brian serves on several community boards which include the Center for Family Services, Seashore Gardens Living Center Foundation, United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, Chelsea Economic Development Corporation, and the Ocean Wind Pro-NJ Grantor Trust Advisory Board. Elizabeth is a New Jersey licensed professional planner with 29 years of experience advancing both public and private development initiatives. She received a B.A. degree from Villanova University and a master’s degree in public administration from California State University. From 2014-2017, she served as Planning Dire tor for the city of Atlantic City where she led the completion of $25 million in infrastructure and park projects.
