Airport Line Technician

Jobs

1841 Lisa Maloff Way, South Lake Tahoe CA

Description

A line tech fuels aircraft, marshals/directs aircraft, communicates with aircraft via radio, loads and unloads passenger luggage, takes fuel samples of all vessels prior to transferring fuel, tows aircraft, and assists pilots in their general requests. Shifts are four ten hours, but in the summer this can change to more depending on business and willingness to work more. Here at Mountain West Aviation we are also required to do some administrative work such as charging customers for their fees and answering phones. Half of our refueling truck fleet is manual/stick shift so knowledge of this is a plus. Training consists of an online course and hands on, the online course is for your line technician certification. Some other things that you might want to learn but you will be taught and are easy is the military phonetic alphabet and military time. If you have never been around aircraft before, or have never been a line tech before this job is a lot of fun. Please email us with questions and resumes, thank you.
