RETREAD TIRE MANUFACTURING: NOW HIRING multiple positions in Sparks These are 40+ hr a week positions. These positions function in a manufacturing environment at a Commercial Tire facility where commercial truck tires are retreaded through a series of manual and automated processes including: - Operating touch screen controlled computers - Inspecting and buffing tire casings for retreading - Applying various compounds to retread the tire - Curing and painting retreaded tires - Constant quality control Positions may also include, but are not limited to: - Mounting/Dismounting Commercial Truck tires - Repairing tires - Unloading/Loading tires in/out of trucks and trailers - Cleaning of plant, work areas and employee areas - Any other duties requested by management TIRE SERVICE TECHICIAN: Tire technicians deliver, install and repair tires for commercial vehicles on site and on the road. Must have CA Drivers License with clean DMV record Duties will include but are not limited to: Tire Service: mounting, dismounting and delivery of heavy duty big rig/bus tires by hand and machine, balancing and flat repairs. May also include powder-coating wheels. Understand and adhere to all safety standards. Vehicle inspection, inflation maintenance and record keeping. Customer relations. Perform all other duties as assigned. Morgan Tire provides Tools and Uniforms. Qualified candidates for these positions need not have experience, we are willing to train. ALL POSITIONS: Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, squatting and walking. Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner. Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
