I have a bonded pair of females bunnies. One is a black New Zealand doe just over a year old ( she cannot be bred! She doesn’t produce any milk) and she bonded with a standard chinchilla female who is almost a year. They need to stay together. They are litter trained if the in closure is set properly. I don’t want them in cages they need room and have a 4 x6 pen currently and they go outside for the days during summer but are brought in for night! They are inside pets. The nz is hatchet she loves being out and pet on not so much holding but you can pet her all day. The sc is flower. She just likes company. She curious and shy will let you pet but she’s busy being curious. They get fruits and veggies for regular treats and are on pellets and alfalfa currrently. Due to my extreme allergy that I found out about I can’t feed them Timothy which is their preference.
