Freedom of speech

Portland OR

Description

On January 12 a group of aggressive protesters blocked entry to Powell's City of Books. They demanded the book by Andy Ngo called: Unmasked, (which is an expose of the ANTIFA movement) be removed from the Bookstore. This blockade continued until the owners of the store caved in to their demands. This event was covered by Oregon Live, Willamette Week, The Portland Business Journal, and the LA Times. However Oregon Public Broadcasting was silent on this attack on free enterprise, free speech and private property. It appears OPB has taken sides with the far left and is no longer qualified to receive public support. Further evidence of this breach of our trust in their neutrality is their repeated claims that the nightly events in Portland were "peaceful protests for social justice met with police violence". Property destruction, arson, disturbance of peace, mob violence, garbage dumping, grafitti etc all brushed aside.
