Summary The Warehouse Crew will work closely with customers, tractor dispatch, and LTL dispatch on customer needs and requirements. Essential Job Functions The Warehouse Crew is responsible for the overall operation of the warehouse and will work directly with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the freight is loaded and unloaded in a safe and timely manner. They will ensure the warehouse is clean and organized while keeping current on all safety regulations and requirements. Typical Duties • Provide customer service to both internal and external customers • Perform pre-trip and post-trips are completed daily on forklifts • Communicate updates on trailer progress and completion with appropriate departments such as cross checking loads, ensuring load is secured, and shipping documents have been completed • Load and unload vans for trailer dispatch • Ensure only authorized personnel enter the warehouse and all safety precautions are taken • Complete and submit OS&D for both intrastate and interstate shipments including pictures • Operate all equipment safely and according to OSHA standards • Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized while ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition. • Provides assistance to the yard and customers and makes deliveries as needed • Promote Sourdough's Vision, Mission, and Culture statements • Other duties as assigned Competencies 1.
