Jacksonville Children's Chorus Is Ready To Name The City's Favorite Dancer

From The JAX Chamber: March 10, 2021 Who will be named River City's favorite dancer and win the coveted mirrorball trophy? The Jacksonville Children's Chorus (JCC) is excited for the 2021 River City Dancing With the Stars competition coming this Saturday, March 13, 2020 at 7:00 pm in the Lazzara Performance Hall at the University of North Florida. With the main event quickly approaching, each contestant has been working hard perfecting their dances while also diligently raising money to help support the Jacksonville Children's Chorus. In a recorded interview, star contestant Monica Hernández says, "Participating in programs such as the JCC, children grow the sense of teamwork, self discipline, and accountability which will really help them be successful in the real world". Each star also expressed their favorite moments so far about participating in River City Dancing With The Stars. Contestant Allison Hollander (famously known as "AllieMcDeal" in the poker community) gives praise to her dance partner during her learning process. "[His] energy keeps it really fun and exciting so it never gets dull," says Hollander. This year's event is joined by 2019 Dancing With The Stars Runner-Up Giselle Carson as an Ambassador showing enthusiasm in her continued support to the Jacksonville Children's Chorus. Carson says, "The discipline, teamwork, and hard work that the kids get through the [Jacksonville Children's Chorus] is what promoted my interest in continuing to contribute and support the program." This year, she will be dancing a showcase performance for the event. The 2021 River City Dancing With The Stars celebrity roster will include: Gisele Carson Shareholder, Marks Gray P.A. Susana Cruz Broker, AON Diana Monell Fanning Financial and Portfolio Advisor, UBS Monica Hernández Assistant Vice President, Deutsches Bank Allison "AllieMcDeal" Hollander Host, Best Bet Poker Show on 1010XL John Thompson Financial Advisor, Wells Fargo Advisors River City DWTS will be held in-person and streamed live virtually through Facebook.
