Job Type: Full-Time/'Part-Time Job Location: Jacksonville, FL Salary $12.50 Available Schedule: Monday thru Thursday 4:00pm - 12:30am Job Description: As a Facility Janitorial Cleaner. You are responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of a warehouse. Candidate must be able to follow and perform work instructions. Applicants must be willing to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Candidates must be able to take direction and follow through with instructions. Organization skills as well as good communication, interpersonal, and computer skills desired. Candidates must have reliable transportation. Duties as follow: • Cleans offices, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and any other areas that may require attention. • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors and vacuums hallways, stairs, and office space. • Cleans light fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, furniture, windows, and window coverings. • Will be required to use cleaning chemicals properly and safely per manufacturer and LJ’s standards. • Empties trash and garbage containers. • Replenishes supplies. • May shampoo and cleans carpets or buff and polish floors which will require the use of mechanical equipment. • May perform routine equipment maintenance and make minor repairs. • May drive a golf cart or other vehicles. Physical Requirements: • Significant walking or other means of mobility. • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift, up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds. What you will need to Start State ID Must be at least 18 Must have reliable transportation Must be Punctual Experience Willing to train Education High school diploma or GED (not required, but recommended) Candidates will be required to pass a criminal background screening
