Join Compassion Child Care on Friday, April 30 from 5:30-8pm at First Evangelical Free Church for the 3rd annual Soapbox Derby! Join Compassion Child Care on Friday, April 30th from 5:30-8pm at First Evangelical Free Church for the 3rd annual Soapbox Derby! Important details to note: There will be inflatables and dinner provided so bring the whole family! Racers need to be between the ages of 4-12 yrs old.  If you are interested in building a soapbox car, you will be provided a basic kit by CCC and then you can create your own design from there.Those interested in sponsoring, will give a child at Compassion Child Care the opportunity to be a driver for the night who would not have had the opportunity to do so otherwise.There are 4 ways you can participate in making this day great: Individuals/businesses can donate $500, build the car, and then have a related child race the carIndividuals/businesses can build a car for a child to race who may not have access to the tools to do so.Individuals/businesses can donate $500 as an entry fee to have someone else build a car and race the car.Individual racer can get a business sponsor for the $500 entry fee, build and race his/her own car.All proceeds will fund the mission of Compassion Child Care.
