Statesville Litter Sweep - Community Volunteer Opportunity In conjunction with our Arbor Day Celebration this year, the City of Statesville Recreation & Parks Department will be participating in the North Carolina Department of Transportation Biannual Cleanup Drive, Litter Sweep Event. We invite you to join us for this community volunteer opportunity to clean up our local parks and streets! This would be a great opportunity for your family or organization to give back to the Statesville community! Three meeting locations are available to volunteer at: Bristol Road Community Center (1605 Bristol Rd.)Bentley Community Center (1410 Third St)Cochran StreetPlease select which location you wish to volunteer during the registration process. Safety vests, gloves, trash bags, pickup sticks, water, and snacks will be available at each location. Following the Statesville Litter Sweep, join us at our Arbor Day Celebration Drive-Thru event at the Statesville Soccer Complex at 12:00pm. There will be 300 tree saplings to give away for FREE on a first come, first served basis.
