FESS Fire Protection, a North Carolina fire protection service company seeks a new Team member for an immediate opening for the position of Fire Equipment Service Technician for our Charlotte, NC branch location. This is an opportunity to learn a valuable trade and skill, Receive great benefits and learn something you can make 45K - $60k a year doing. The job will be to travel to customer’s locations where you will inspect and maintain fire extinguishers and fire suppression equipment in restaurants and special hazard locations. The job does require physical ability, working with your hands as well as the use of an iPad to document work and invoicing. Mechanical skills such as plumbing and/or car repair are a definite plus. Experience in this field is a plus but not a necessity. We have a great training program here at FESS Fire Protection. Team Member Requirements: Excellent phone and communication skills to include electronic devices Ability to work independently as well as in partnerships with other technicians Able to occasionally travel on 2-4 day trips, meals, company vehicle, and lodging provided by the company. Must be reliable and have a good driving record Proactive customer handling skills Enjoy working with people and being a solution provider Be able to lift 60+ pounds repeatedly.
