Knox Plate Carriers, is looking for industrial and/or home sewers who can work from home. This job is highly flexible! Description * Sew tactical gear at home using pre-cut company materials (nylon fabric, velcro, webbing etc) * Assemble and return to the company fully ready for quality inspection and shipping Physical Requirements *Contractor owned sewing machine (ideally industrial grade) (company will not be responsible for maintenance costs of contractor machinery) * Pass an in person sewing proficiency test and interview * Proximity to Fountain City (or Knoxville area in general) Other Requirements * Positive attitude * Meet minimum weekly quotas * Complete onboarding training * Supporter of 2nd Amendment rights Compensation * 1099 - contract labor * Flat rate for each item completed ($40-$50 for complete plate carrier and cummerbund) * Weekly payments * No insurance * No benefits * Family and friend discounts on products (with company approval) As the company grows, more product orders means more work opportunities!
