The fields date back to the 1970s when it was part of a swamp. Joseph A. Foran High soccer coach, Rick DeStephano said previously that the field upgrade is necessary because the field currently doesn't drain well and has been abandoned the past two years, prior meeting minutes state. He said the turf fields will be beneficial to both soccer and lacrosse sports. The project cost about $3 million and the fields are adjacent to Foran High School. >>>You can view the plans here.
