Faith Communities and Civic Agencies United, Inc. (FCCAU) is a 501(c)(3) organization that operates Welcome One Emergency Shelter, which is a full service shelter that provides shelter, meals, laundry and shower facilities to 33 individuals. www.welcomeoneshelter.com We are currently recruiting new Board members. Prior nonprofit board experience and/or formal board training is not necessary. In addition to the standard roles and responsibilities of a board member, our members are active advocates and ambassadors for the organization and are fully engaged in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for FCCAU to advance its mission. The Board is comprised of 12-15 individuals who are dedicated to the organization’s mission. Serving on the Board is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about helping others.
