William Fagaly shares stories and insights from his new book, The Night Crawler King. As a curator of African, contemporary, and self-taught art, William Fagaly's career spanned 50 years at the New Orleans Museum of Art. In his new book, The Night Crawler King , Fagaly provides a rare and revealing look into the world of art curation, specifically adding a unique perspective to the history of New Orleans that resonates throughout the world. As an art curator, Fagaly is responsible for organizing over 90 exhibitions and publishing over 100 articles. Join us on Wednesday, April 14 as we welcome William Fagaly to the Beauregard-Keyes house. He will share excerpts from his book and recount stories that bring local New Orleans personalities to life! A question and answer period will follow the lecture. Seating at this lecture will be limited and attendees must register in advance through Eventbrite. Guests will be asked to remain socially distanced and are required to wear a mask.
