A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR HORTICULTURIST / GARDENER As our Horticulturist / Gardener, you play a vital role in the aesthetics and brand image of our country club. Reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent, you are responsible for planting and maintaining the flowers, shrubs, and decorative trees throughout the property. You conscientiously maintain the upkeep of the clubhouse, pool, tennis, and golf course landscapes. With careful attention to detail, you plan and make purchases for the annual plantings. You get to maintain two greenhouses to support your landscaping. Working closely with the clubhouse, pool, and tennis managers, you are collaborative and pleasant to work with. You also assist with the evaluation and management of trees on the golf course. You take great pride in being responsible for the beauty of our grounds! QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR HORTICULTURIST / GARDENER 2 years of professional experience in horticulture or a related field Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures for landscape management Ability to operate power equipment and heavy machinery when needed Ability and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions Valid driver's license Are you self-motivated and comfortable working independently?
