GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for planning weekly work tasks and assigning daily work to the maintenance crew, and ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Attention to prioritizing work, and ensuring a balance of landscaping and building repairs issues are met. Maintain all inventory and equipment, and secure proper storage. Responsible for material orders, and ensuring the equipment preventative maintenance schedule is maintained. Maintenance manager will be working closely with the Board of Directors in developing goals and objectives to meet the demands of our community.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Allocate workload and supervise maintenance staff
Manage relationships with contractors and other service providers
Monitor equipment and supply inventories and place orders when necessary
Plan and oversee all repair and landscaping activities
Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities
Ensure that designated buildings are kept in good repair and to provide proactive support/solutions when required
Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
Must be available for on-call emergencies, and shall address or report any safety issues or concerns to the Managing Agent and/or Board of Directors immediately.
Any other duties assigned by the Board of Directors and Association Managing Agent.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Experience:
Journeyman level knowledge of building trades/maintenance including: Carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical.
Landscaping experience is preferred.
