I'm sure that you can count of both of the democratic sheep to do what they're told. I find your take on republican governing interesting. Take a look at the various 'districts' in Massachusetts and then come back and say that the republicans are the gerrymanders. Voter suppression goes back to the period just after the civil war. You must remember the history of the southern democrats issuing poll taxes and other criteria so that blacks couldn't vote. The democrats then formed the KKK to intimidate the blacks and keep them from voting. More recently, it was the democrats that opposed the civil rights acts... and even set a record for the longest filibuster in US history while trying to stop them. Adding an ethics clause seems kind of pointless. There's already plenty of ethics rules in congress and elsewhere. But the party in charge won't enforce them. Don't you ever wonder how an elected official can amass a net worth of millions and millions on a government salary? Or do you mean ethics as in someone claiming to be black to get a senior position in the NAACP? Or were you referring ethics violations of someone like Elizabeth Warren who claims to be an Indian to get ahead? We won't get into Kamala Harris' method of securing a position and getting ahead. Nor will we look at members of the squad who may be married to relatives, and are funneling money into personal accounts. Perhaps the most interesting thing in your post is about showing republicans what 'reality looks like'. You can't get elected to govern unless you have a majority. Therefore, whenever a republican is elected, the democrats actually represent the minority... unless of course you fix the election.
